Last Updated: May 1, 2026
This website is operated by PopichCo Ventures Inc., doing business as EcoScoop360. Throughout the site, the terms ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to PopichCo Ventures Inc. By signing up for service with EcoScoop360, you (the “Customer”) agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. WEBSITE USE & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- Ownership: All content on https://ecoscoop360.com including logos, text, and images, is the property of EcoScoop360.
- Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, EcoScoop360 is not liable for typographical errors or temporary website downtime.
2. DOG WASTE REMOVAL SERVICE
- General Service: EcoScoop360 offers residential and commercial pet waste removal. Pricing is based on the number of dogs and the service frequency selected at signup.
- Initial Clean Fee (New Customers): All new recurring service accounts are automatically subject to a one-time Initial Clean-Up Fee on the first visit to restore the property to a baseline, manageable condition before regular maintenance begins.
- Resumption Clean Fee (Existing Customers): For existing accounts, if there is a pause, suspension, or gap in your scheduled service lasting longer than 14 days (2 weeks), an Initial Clean-Up Fee will automatically be applied to your next completed visit to cover the extra accumulation before your standard recurring rate resumes.
3. DISPOSAL POLICY (CALGARY BYLAWS)
- Local Compliance: In accordance with City of Calgary bylaws, EcoScoop360 utilizes the Customer’s Green Cart for waste disposal.
- Eco-Standard: We use only BPI/BNQ certified compostable bags. Waste is double-bagged and securely tied before being placed in your Green Cart.
- Haul-Away Service: If the Customer prefers waste to be removed from the property, an additional fee applies.
4. YARD ACCESS & SAFETY
- Condominium Approval: EcoScoop360 only services units with a gated/fenced privacy area and we require written approval from the Condo Board or Property Management Company before service commences. The Property Management Access Authorization form can be found here.
- Access & Gate Security: If we cannot access your yard due to a locked/blocked gate, the service will be skipped, and charges will still apply. We provide a Gate-Safe Guarantee (photo confirmation) upon exit.
- Third-Party Liability: EcoScoop360 (a division of PopichCo Ventures Inc.) is not responsible for pets escaping if a gate was left unlatched or opened by a third party (such as landscaping crews, utility workers, or guests) following our service visit.
- Dogs in Yard: For safety, dogs must be indoors during our visit. If an aggressive dog is in the yard, we will skip service and charges will still apply.
- Debris & Tall Grass: We cannot guarantee full waste removal in tall grass (4″+), deep leaves, or heavy debris.
5. ODOR ELIMININATION & DEODORIZING SERVICE
- Season: Standard odor elimination & deodorizing is performed from May 1st to October 1st.
- Off-Season (Chinook Winds): During winter, we may deodorize only if there is a sustained Chinook, no snow on the ground, and the temperature is above 0°C.
- Effectiveness: Odor elimination & deodorizing is a topical treatment, longevity depends on weather and rainfall.
6. CALGARY WEATHER POLICY
- Heavy Snow: If waste is buried, we will perform a “top-scoop” and a double-clean on the next visit once snow melts.
- Extreme Cold: Service may be postponed if temperatures drop below -25°C (including wind chill).
- Billing: No refunds are offered for weeks missed due to weather. We will pick up the accumulated “double” waste on the following visit.
7. BILLING & PAYMENTS
- 4-Week Billing Cycle: All services are prepaid for a 4-week cycle (28 days). Your billing period begins on your first scheduled service day and renews every 4 weeks.
- Prepayment: Invoices for the upcoming cycle are issued prior to your renewal date and are due upon receipt.
- Payment Methods: Payments can be made via Interac e-Transfer to e-transfer@ecoscoop360.com (set to Auto-Deposit, no security question required) or through our designated third-party payment provider.
- Late Fees: If payment for the new cycle is not received within 3 days following the end of your current 4-week cycle, a $10 late fee will be applied and service will be paused.
8. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
- Cancellation Notice: To stop the next 4-week billing cycle, a cancellation request must be submitted via our website’s Cancellation Page at least 48 hours prior to your specific renewal date.
- Required Information: Customers must provide their full name, phone number, and service address through the online form to successfully process the cancellation.
- Mid-Cycle Cancellation: If you cancel after a 4-week cycle has begun, you will be charged the full amount for that period. Service will continue until the end of the paid 28-day cycle.
- No Partial Refunds: We do not offer pro-rated or partial refunds for unused visits within a paid 4-week billing cycle.
- Scheduled Closures: EcoScoop360 is closed on New Year’s Day, Christmas Day, Easter, Alberta Day, and Canada Day. No credits or refunds are issued for these five annual holidays.
- Reactivating account: Should a Customer cancel service and request to reactivate their account at a later date, the account will be treated as a resumption of service and will be subject to the Initial Clean-Up Fee if the service gap exceeds 14 days as outlined in Section 2.
